rmdso, my fugly stove broke a while back -- the oven stopped working. so i bought a spiffy new stove, ran some plugs so the new stove had a place to plug into (old stove - which I think dated to the 1940's, maybe - had pilot lights, not electrical ignition). and also put up a new backsplash behind it to be prettier, and replaced the fan/light over the stove. the result behind the cut.
the plumber came and installed it this morning. and then i made breakfast of scrambled eggs on it. BECAUSE I COULD.
