Yup. I often wonder why anyone even listens to Kissenger anymore, given that the man is surrounded by the skulls of his victims.

Dunno, my recollection is that people go to Kissinger for advice on realpolitik, not on how to be Good People.

His politics seem to revolve around "kill a lot of people" and "stop the enemies of Israel". Handy, but a tad bit predictable.

I haven't seen an op-ed or anything public by Kissinger for years, so I don't know what his politics are now. As for history, he seemed to handle well a bunch of touchy situations where war or the threat of war was intimately involved. ("Well" meaning "salvaging a reasonably good outcome for his bosses.") As far as I know, his money comes from Kissinger Associates, and I suspect that K.A. gives advice to businesses where ugly international politics is involved.

When they were released to the public I listen to hours of Nixon's tapes. I had already read books on them, but to hear him say that stuff directly (whether it was referring to Jews as "kikes", blacks as inferior, discussing the watergate break-in, and more, not how you want to think of a president) was quite an experience.
