peeve: walking to the T station and about a quarter of the way there i get a really bad cramp in my leg that keeps annoying me and making me limp for the rest of the afternoon. i did manage to gimp to the T station (about a mile and a quarter from my house) and take the T out to oak grove and then gimp a quarter mile up the street to the auto body shop without too much difficulty. still, annoying and mildly painful.

antipeeve: drove back home in the spiffy shiny repaired DAS MINI-BOOT. they detailed it in and out as part of the repair and so it hasn't looked this clean in a year. and the exterior is so shiny it looks wet. it won't last, but it's very pretty for now.

How long does it take to walk to the Orange Line?

it's about a mile and a quarter -- down pearl street to the mcgrath/obrien, turn left down to broadway, then right on broadway to the T station. it took me about 40 minutes, but i was limping. i think it's about 25 minutes or so otherwise.

here's the google map link (http://maps.google.com/maps?spn=0.013885,0.032668&saddr=24+stickney+ave,+somerville,+ma&daddr=sullivan+square,+somerville,+ma&hl=en) although you don't actually have to turn onto cambridge st if you're a pedestrian.

there are busses that go there from broadway, but i figured it was a nice day.
